About me…
Hi, I’m Lucy: a mum, primary school teacher, and Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner in training. I’ve always cared deeply about supporting mental health and, in 2023, began training to become a counsellor. In 2024, I paused my training to welcome my little boy and, through this experience, became drawn to supporting mums through the transition into motherhood. This led me to train as a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner.
I now support mothers and families in building mental wellness, connection and confidence during the early stages of parenthood through circles, 1:1 sleep support and workshops.
Through both lived experience and professional training, I understand the unique challenges faced by mothers who are also teachers. Combining my background in teaching and professional training, I also design support specifically tailored to the complexities of balancing motherhood alongside a teaching career.

Circles
Mummy and me circles are classes based in Leighton Buzzard that support maternal wellbeing. Circles combine nervous system aware practices with education to support and grow life-long maternal and baby mental health.
1:1 Sleep Support
I offer nurtured sleep support grounded in brain development, co-regulation and stress system development. The goal is to support rest and sleep while protecting the developing infant and parental brain and the parent-baby relationship.
Workshops
I run in-person and online workshops designed to help you understand your changing identity, incredible parent brain and how to care for your own wellbeing.

What is a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner?
A Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner is a professional trained in brain development in infancy, parent brain development, the neuroscience of early relationships, stress system development, infant sleep from a neurodevelopment lens, the neuroscience of early relationships, parental brain development, infant neurobiology and nervous system regulation.
My training, created and facilitated by neuroscientists Dr Greer Kirshenbaum – best-selling author of the Nurture Revolution – and Dr. Rocio Zunini, is grounded in peer-reviewed research from developmental neuroscience, attachment science, psychobiology and stress physiology – and translated into loving and compassionate support for families. At its heart, Nurture Neuroscience is about one thing: supporting sleep, wellbeing and early development by nurturing relationships between babies and parents.

Find support that feels right for you
My work centres on nurturing connection between mother and baby while honouring the profound transformation of becoming a mother. I believe that maternal wellbeing and infant wellbeing are interconnected: when mothers feel supported and their needs are acknowledged, they are better able to care for and connect with their babies. By nurturing one, we nurture the other.
